We are currently recruiting 1 permanent full time ACP for a start date in early March 2023.

Advanced Care Paramedics are responsible to treat and transport sick and injured in accordance with provincial MCPs. Basic station and ambulance cleaning/maintenance duties are also required.

Shift rotations are 3 days on with 6 days off. Accommodations are provided at our station on the O'Chiese First Nation. Transportation from Rocky Mountain House via crew change out truck is also provided. Calls are predominantly emergent in nature with minimal (if any) hospital wait times. No IFTs or flexing. Full comprehensive benefit package following successful completion of probationary period.

Applicants must be self-motivated and have good communication and critical thinking skills. They must also be culturally aware/competent and must be comfortable working in a remote geographical location with extended transport times. Minimum of 1 year EMS experience required and experience working with marginalized and vulnerable populations or in other First Nations communities is an asset.
