Carbon Medical is looking for Advanced Care Paramedics to work in the Oil & Gas Industry.  Carbon Medical is based out of Leduc, AB.  Employees arrive at our shop in Leduc, pick up our truck and drive a Carbon truck to site and from site back to the Carbon office.

Rotations are primarily two weeks in the field and two weeks off.  Shifts are 12 hours long.

Main responsibilities are being medical onsite.  Depending on the client, our medics may have to check people in and out of site, may have to check to make sure the people getting onsite have the proper tickets, assist with safety meetings, participate in the head counts and such.

Depending on the location, you could be live on location, in a hotel or in a camp.

The following are mandatory requirements:

Valid and in good standing with ACoP as an Advanced Care Paramedic

H2S Alive

CSO

CPR

Minimum of a class 5 drivers license

Ability to carry medical bags

Steel toe boots and snow cleats

Pay is based on a 12 hour day.  The pay is $650.00/day plus $100.00/ day Living away allowance that is not taxed.  ($46.43.00/hr for the first 8 hours and $69.64/hr for the addition 4 hours plus $100.00 living away allowance)

Travel time (from the Carbon shop to site and from site back to the Carbon shop is paid at $20.00/hr)

- Coveralls, hard hats, safety glasses, Carbon shirts and winter jackets if required
